Community Outreach

Mature Texan Magazine’s team includes a number of folks.  It may take a village to raise a child, but I say it takes a community to raise awareness.  And that’s the name of the game. Mature Texan's advertisers and sponsors are the lifeblood of the magazine.  Each advertiser invests funds in our mission to support and educate our readers because they see the value for our readership.  Thanks to them, the magazine offers you and your loved ones quality content and easy access to services you need.

God, CEO

God is the magazine's Alpha and Omega.  His expertise has guided us into partnerships with great companies, who the magazine, in turn, provides with the highest level of care and loyalty.  God has also guided our company to achieve remarkable alliances with local senior organizations.  Through advertising funding, Mature Texan has been able to serve our community for five rewarding years.

Linda Del Bosque, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief

Linda's dynamic personality, determination and faith in God have kept Mature Texan alive and growing steadily since 2005.  She is dedicated to serving North Texas' senior community by providing them with current information on issues that matter.  She capitalizes on her talent for creative production through collages and development of the magazine's layout and overall concept, as a designer. "It is God's energy that lives through my body, as I am able to keep up," she says.  In April, 2010 Linda's radio show hit bloomberg.com, where she was noted as "The Mother of Podcast for Senior's".

Linda resides in North Fort Worth with her husband, Dave, and their daughter Brianna.  Tiffany, her oldest, resides in Taylor, Texas, and Mandy and Christie live in Ohio.  She thrives on networking, caring for and visiting with seniors and plans to tour senior communities this fall to share the importance of faith.  Her favorite hobbies are reading and  spending time with her family.  Her biggest pet peeve is people who walk through life with a "me" attitude.  "It is important if you are working for a company, to remember you are making company choices, not for you, but for your team, that will turn into growth," Linda says.  "It is a team who wins, not one person."

Mike Del Bosque, Vice President

Mike's superlative skills in business contribute to realizing Mature Texan's goal to grow. This April, Mike joined the Mature Texan team to help support Linda's vision for implementing more value for our readers and advertisers. His knowledge and experience in creating strong business profiles has earned him numerous awards with companies throughout North Texas. Mike's passion for business development grew after serving as COO of the family business, which achieved 100% return upon selling.

Mike resides in Grand Prairie with his two children, Tori and Mike Jr. As Linda's older brother, he is excited to be a part of the Mature Texan team. Mike enjoys networking, playing golf, hunting and fishing and spending time with the family. His number one goal in life is to walk with God, which is why he shares his life to help others in need of support, love and kindness. "It is who you are that makes you, but it is your attitude in life, that can change you to have a better journey," Mike says. His children and family enliven his optimism for life.
